Controller

Catator, with its ambitious growth agenda, has secured equity funding to implement its growth plan and is aiming for an IPO in the next couple of years. We are seeking a Controller to our headquarter in Lund who would like to be part of this exciting journey.

You will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing our financial and accounting activities, including managing financial reporting, implementing financial policies, consolidating financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulations. If you have a passion for financial management in a dynamic, smaller-scale environment, we'd love to meet you!

Educational Background

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) could be advantageous.

Experience

• Several years of experience in financial controlling, preferably within a similar industry. Experience in a startup or a company in the growth phase would be beneficial.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience in preparing a company for an IPO would be highly valuable.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
• Experience with financial software and systems.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with management and other departments.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
