Senior Project Manager

You will be working out of our office in Lund and report directly to our R&D Director.  You will be part of the Development & Design Team working together with our specialists in catalyst chemistry and reactor design where you will be responsible for balance of plant and overall system design, including selection and sourcing of components and working with a network of external technology specialists and suppliers to make sure all system considerations are considered.

Educational Background

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, preferably energy related.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Senior Project Manager of development projects.
• Strong track record in customer projects for system development and design.
• Experience from gas systems or energy systems for mobility applications in the aviation, automotive or marine sectors.
• Experience from working with a broad network of external technology specialists and suppliers.

Skills

• Creativity, analytical aptitude, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive personality.
• Strong communication skills for both verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with members of the Development & Design Team and the Sales department.

Key tasks

• Managing technically complex development projects: Overseeing all stages of project development, from initiation to closure.
• Collaborating with the Development & Design Team: Working closely with specialists in catalyst chemistry and reactor design.
• Overseeing balance of plant and overall system design: This includes the selection and sourcing of components.
• Working with external partners: Identify and collaborate with external specialists as required.
• Liaising with the Sales department: Ensuring alignment between project development and sales strategies.
• Customer project management: Managing customer expectations, delivering projects on time and within budget, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Reporting to the R&D Director: Providing regular updates on project progress and any challenges encountered.
